Neramexane by Merz

Oral small-molecule antagonist at NMDA receptors and alpha9/alpha10 nicotinic acetylcholine receptors evaluated for subjective tinnitus.

Merged the generated Neramexane and Neramexane Mesylate rows into one Merz-sponsored tinnitus program. The Phase 2 publication and registry identify neramexane/neramexane mesylate as the same oral tinnitus candidate; subsequent Phase 3 tinnitus studies used the mesylate name. All identified tinnitus studies are completed or terminated, and no current active Merz development signal was confirmed in this pass.
